Welcome to Student Screening playground for new literacy students! This playground features 3 screening rooms for decoding words, syllables, and sounds with colored tiles and clapping. After each activity is completed, you can reward your student with ā and š, then give them the shovel to knock down the wall and lead them to the next room. After 3 screening activities, 3 rewards (or more! reward, reward, reward!), and 3 knocked down walls, you and the student can play in the playhouse or travel along the obstacle course. šØ I designed this playground to be simple and professional enough to impress parents, yet fun and gamified in order to entice new students! Use this time to show how much fun learning in playground can be for struggling readers. š Happy Teaching!! š ***This is a screening template. There are no instructions included with the playground.
